Stayed one night here as a birder. VERY good hummingbird feeders that were packed with a variety of hummers the whole time. Fruit / tanager feeder had a good mix of things and was pretty active for the afternoon I was there. Rooms a bit “rustic” but fine for the price. Note that the Google Maps directions are completely wrong. Basically put in Yaku Quinde and then as you get closer look for the Balcon Tumpiki signs. Also note that the road, especially towards the end, is QUITE rough. SUV recommended.

We were taken here in the morning by our bird guide. The hosts were really lovely. Birds were amazing! We saw toucans, toucanet, barbet, and lots of different hummingbirds!

What a beautiful place! We came here 7:30am to watch some birds. Entry fee is 15 Dollars p.P. We had an amazing time. The couple that owns the place is amazing. They even helped me to find the perfect spot to take pictures. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!
